Local art by a local artists in Brooklin, ONtario
This campaign documented the creation of a custom mural commissioned for a new Longo's location within a community-focused outdoor shopping centre. Created by a local artist, the mural was designed to celebrate the connection between local food, local businesses, and the people who make the neighbourhood unique. Inspired by the atmosphere of a traditional fresh market, the artwork reflects the quality, warmth, and sense of community that Longo's has built its brand around.
Filmed from the artist's first brushstrokes through her final touches, the campaign captured both the creative process and the purpose behind the installation. Beyond showcasing the mural itself, the project highlighted the broader vision for the development—a welcoming public space designed to bring people together. With park benches, landscaped gardens, preserved mature trees, and new cherry blossom plantings, the shopping centre was thoughtfully designed as more than a place to shop. It was envisioned as a gathering place where art, nature, local businesses, and the community could come together, reinforcing Longo's commitment to supporting local artists while creating spaces that people genuinely enjoy spending time in.
