Capturing someone's story in an interesting and visually captivating way, is never easy, even under the best of conditions, so when Motis Fire Rescue approached us to produces a series of videos about firefighters around the world we knew this was going to be an challenging project. Not only did we want to capture footage of the firefighters operating under the extreme conditions their jobs demand of them but we also wanted to capture the interesting and sometimes extreme activities they did outside of their work.

This lead us to some unexpected locations and conditions as we battled the elements to film these inspiring individuals swimming in the open ocean, long distance running on a dormant volcano, mountain biking over hot springs, and more as they strove to find balance between fire and life.
